Good customer service isn’t just responding to what customers require. It’s also about taking the initiative and ensuring you are doing all you can to aid customers.

It is also useful to have a good knowledge of the product or products you are providing. If a customer has a question, it’s important that you can answer it without asking for help. And when it comes to customer service, efficiency is also a must. Customers want a prompt service!

You may also wish to think back to previous jobs. List a couple of times where you have gone above and beyond to ensure that you were providing a good level of customer service. Being able to back up what you think makes good customer care with examples, will only strengthen your chances.
