When searching for work online, you may encounter fake job offers and attempted online scams. Jobrapido is a free search engine for job offers. Our aim is to help you find a job and do so without asking for money.

Some websites, which are not affiliated with Jobrapido in any way, offer paid services to help you write your CV or training activities to help you find work. If you receive an e-mail requesting money from someone claiming to be from Jobrapido, please do not trust them and immediately report the event. All of our e-mails are sent from certified addresses that end with @jobrapido.com or @jobrapidoalert.com.

Here’s some advice to make sure you don’t fall foul to online fraud:

1. Don’t trust offers that are overly generic and promises of easy money online
2. If an offer is not written well, it’s likely to be the automatic translation of a text designed for fraudulent purposes
3. Check the existence of the company on search engines or by viewing the Chamber of Commerce report, i.e. the document that provides information on UK-based companies, individual or collective, listed in the ‘Companies House’ Business Register
4. Bin all requests for money. Individuals who are looking to hire personnel will not ask for money
5. Always consult a website’s Privacy Policy. This will include all the information you need to evaluate the company.
