Jobrapido for International Women’s Day 2023: #EmbraceEquity

From a slogan to making a real change

Jobrapido is also supporting  International Women’s Day 2023 by empowering and sharing the hashtag #EmbraceEquity and launching some concrete activities to support and push for equity and inclusion at all levels.

To drive real change, we choose to take action.

To make diversity, equity and inclusion a daily commitment as one of our company’s core values, we are striving to make a slogan into a concrete commitment.

We started actively promoting “Diversity and Inclusion” in 2016 with our “Women in Digital” program, aimed at raising awareness about women working in what have traditionally been considered “male” domains, through a series of online and offline activities.

This year, to celebrate IWD on 8 March 2023, we are introducing a “Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Policy” and launching a Women’s Leadership Program. Our aim is to make the individual a central, fundamental part of our business in terms of dignity and equity.

We at Jobrapido are constantly committed to ensuring equity to our people. We do so by stating our values, which are carefully designed to guarantee fundamental rights in the workplace, but we also try to go beyond simply sharing these values.” says Patrizia Turri, Global Vice President of Human Resources at Jobrapido.  “We do our best to live and act on them concretely in our daily lives through a range of initiatives. We designed the Women’s Leadership Program, launching on 8th March 2023, to support the growth of our women, and with the introduction of the ‘Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Policy’ we are taking another important step to drive the change. We believe the best way to celebrate is to #EmbraceEquity and take action..

People are at our core and equity is a priority

At Jobrapido, celebrating women is part of our commitment to providing equal opportunities to all employees. It is also reflected in what we do to support them every day at every level, guaranteeing equity, breaking bias and encouraging them in achieving their goals.

It also means working and acting to create a gender-equal world, starting in the workplace. In fact, we firmly believe that a diverse and inclusive environment is critical to our success as a company, and is essential to create a culture of innovation, collaboration and respect.

That’s why we are stating our commitment to #EmbraceEquity today, by launching a new “Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Policy”, based on a clear principle:

“We are committed to fostering a culture that is inclusive of different backgrounds, perspectives, experiences and ideas and that is free from discrimination, harassment and bias. We do not tolerate any form of discrimination or harassment based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, or disability.”

The policy is intended to reinforce our commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of our business, including hiring and promotion, professional development and training, and employee engagement and retention.

Engaging, discussing, sharing as starting points to #EmbraceEquity and take actions for gender equality and inclusion

The aim of the Jobrapido Women’s Leadership Program is to spend time reflecting on the important topic of gender equity through a discussion that brings out ideas, reflections, and personal experiences to bring us all one step closer to #embraceequity.

This is a commitment to overcome the current gaps in gender equity, and to support and drive change, in 4 steps:

  • Leadership and Followership
  • Introduction to emotional intelligence
  • Think-Feel-Act
  • Change map, who’s afraid of change?

“Imagine a gender equal world. A world free of bias, stereotypes, and discrimination. A world that’s diverse, equitable, and inclusive. A world where difference is valued and celebrated. Together we can forge women’s equality. Collectively we can all #EmbraceEquity.”
